A 22-year-old woman was arrested on Thursday after she was caught starting a fire within her own mosque in Des Moines, Iowa.

Des Moines firefighters were called to the location of an Islamic Center in Des Moines at about 10 am, where there had been a small fire on the carpet.

Security cameras in the mosque showed a woman, later identified as Aisha Ismail, 22, pouring lighter fluid on the carpet and then starting the fire.

“It doesn’t appear that she was trying to burn the place down, It seems like she was trying to make a statement.”

There were no indications that this fire was a hate crime said the police. Ismail attended the mosque, her motive for the fire was unclear.

Her motive was “unclear”? Really? How about she was trying to perpetrate a false narrative of muslim persecution by blaming the fire on “Islamophobia”? The overwhelming vast majority of these supposed “hate crimes” have been hoaxes and lies.
