Last February former Breitbart senior editor, Milo Yiannopoulos, was scheduled to speak at UC Berkeley, the historical home of the free speech movement during the mid 1960’s. Far-left agitators called Antifa had forced Milo’s speech to not occur through the creation of chaos on the ground at Berkeley upon Milo’s arrival to campus.
On Friday Milo announced that he would return to UC Berkeley to host “Milo’s Free Speech Week.” The multi-day event will consist of a plethora of speeches, rallies and parties in which anyone can come regardless of political affiliation. In addition to the festivities Milo will be giving out the Mario Savio Award to the person who has done the most to protect free expression at UC Berkeley. Milo warned UC Berkeley that if they do “not actively assist us in the planning and execution of this event, we will extend festivities to an entire month.”
